Mother Nature knows best.
You can’t beat ingredients that are derived from natural sources, such as bees. When we look around at all the vitamins, minerals and oils that can and should be part of skin care products, there is one question that lingers – “Will those wonderful additives stay on my skin or will they just be rinsed off?”
When honey is added to soaps (and other skin care products as well) more of those excellent vitamins, oils, etc. will be sealed onto the skin surface, allowing a higher percentage of them to be absorbed. That’s actually about as good as it gets when it comes to maintaining healthy skin!
Besides acting as a kind of sealant on the skin, honey is a natural antiseptic and keeps unwanted bacteria from forming in the soap. This prolongs the life of bar soap, and makes the lather richer and creamier.
The benefits keep going.
The longer you use a high quality honey soap, such as ours, the better it is for your skin. You may find that dry skin, rough areas such as elbows and knees, become smoother. You may also find that irritations heal faster.
As another added benefit, you may not need as much (or perhaps any at all) hand and body lotion. With gentle ingredients that nourish the skin, and no added detergents or sudsing agents that can make dry skin worse, our soaps are excellent for most skin types.
