Five Step Deep Cleansing Treatment For Your Skin

Aromatic Deep Cleansing Treatment For Your Skin Instructions

First, don’t be afraid to steam your skin at home.  This can be done safely by using either a home steaming appliance or a large bowl of hot water (to keep it simple I use that method in the instructions below).  Remember to always opt for organic varieties!

I have performed this treatment myself at home many times and I just love the results.  I think you will too.

Step One:  Steaming

Pour 2 1/2 cups of near-boiling water into a large heatproof bowl, placed on a counter or vanity.

And add two drops of essential oil of lavender and two drops of tea tree oil to bring about the best cleansing effects.

Seat yourself comfortably and using a large towel to make a tent, lean over the bowl and let the fragrant steam heat your skin, opening the pores and removing deep-seated toxins.

Remain in this position for 10 minutes, turning your face left, then right, lifting your chin up and then down, to steam your skin evenly.

Rinse your face, neck and decollete with warm water followed by a cool rinse. Pat your skin dry.

Step Two:  Aloe Vera With Lavender Essential Oil Application

Blend about 1/2 to 1 cup of aloe vera oil (or gel that’s been liquified in the microwave) with two to four drops of essential oil of lavender.

First apply a coat of petroleum jelly around your eyes and on your lips.

Then smooth the aromatic gel all over your face, neck and decollete, using a good layer.

Allow it to soak into your skin for one full minute, noting how your skin tingles as the essential oil start to work.

Now go on to the pulsing and smoothing methods. Apply more aloe vera treatment mixture if needed along the way.

Step Three:  Pulsing Over The Face

Starting at the forehead, press lightly up and down with your fingertips, then moving the fingers lower and repeat.

Work this way down your face over your cheeks to your chin in the same way.

This movement will increase the blood supply to your skin and bring needed oxygen and nutrients that benefit the complexion.

Step Four:  Smoothing Down The Face

Stroke down the face from the forehead to the chin , neck and decollete several times to encourage the elimination of toxins from this area.

Your skin should feel clean, soft and energized with any blemished areas soothed and cooled.

Step Five:  Finishing

Using a warm, wet washcloth, wipe off the skin treatment thoroughly, ending with several cool splashes of water. Pat dry. Now apply toner, serum and a moisturizer that’s formulated for your skin.

Drink two large glasses of water immediately following your facial. Sit down with a cup of chamomile or lavender tea for about half an hour afterword to give your body a chance to continue the detoxification process.
